"I have been so excited about this QTL experience!!! In ten years of teaching, I have never been in a workshop that has been this effective. I have grown personally and professionally. I also feel confident in my abilities to take what I have learned back into my classroom and drastically affect the learning successes of my students. ALL of my students!!!!!!"

The Power of Instructional Technology, Used Effectively

The latest in a series of federally funded demonstration projects driven by the North Carolina Technology Association is drawing raves. The project brought additional technology to Taylorsville Elementary School in rural Alexander County - and provided QTL professional development to help teachers get the most out of the new tech tools. Participants found that the use of research-based teaching strategies, along with increased and strategic technology use - had a strong impact on student achievement. The video below is taken from a celebration at the culmination of the project.
